The Great Burlesque Exposition
The Conference

The Conference at The Great Burlesque Exposition is the ideal place to improve your skills as a performer, producer, costumer – in short, in every aspect of burlesque and beyond.  Our conference coordinator this year is the fabulous Betty Blaize, ably assisted by Scandal from Bohemia.

The Great Burlesque Exposition offers the following different kinds of classes:

  • Master Classes: taught by some of the best in the business, Master Classes are specialized or advanced classes for the performer who is serious about her burlesque.  Master Classes require an additional fee to attend.
  • Workshops: exciting and hands-on, Workshops are extended sessions that teach a craft or skill through doing.  You'll have the chance to make or build something in a Workshop and will take some great things home with you.  Workshops sometimes have materials fees or limited enrollment.
  • Panels bring together people with several different viewpoints and experiences to create lively discussions on a specific topic.  Audience participation is encouraged!
  • Classes and Lectures are the heart and soul of our conference.  Learn from the best, whether it's a class in which you're talking about stuff or a class in which you're doing stuff!
