Rhinestoning Basics

Do you want to sparkle up your costume but not sure where to start? Does GemTac, wax pens, and SS20 give you nightmares? Then this workshop will give you the boost you need to get your next (or maybe first??) rhinestoning project started!

Suprema de la Rouge believes that there is no such thing as too much sparkle. This Bay Area burlesque performer will share her knowledge of tools and techniques, as well as their horror stories and successes, during this hands-on, 60-minute workshop.

You’ll leave this class having acquired knowledge on rhinestones and tools, resources and techniques. While this class is focused on beginners, it will be interesting for all levels of rhinestoning experience.

You have the choice of bringing an item you would like to get help with and we can discuss rhinestoning options and maybe even start working on it, or use one of the kits provided in class for a small fee (max. 15 USD per kit) and start working on a project right away (FYI the projects can stay in the room to dry after class and you can pick them up in the afternoon).
